London Eye:
Westminster Bridge Road, London

At 135 meters, Coca-Cola London Eye is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel at 135. It was launched in 2000 and was supposed to be a temporary structure. The Eye became such a hit with millions of people boarding it every year. Due to its popularity it became a permanent fixture near the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. It is the most popular paid for attraction in England.

During the 30-minute rotation, the London Eye offers visitors a new perspective of London’s skyline.  There are view of several of London’s most iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby, and The Tower Bridge just to mention a few. The roomy capsules have lots of window space allowing all visitors to see the beautiful sites. For those that want privacy, there is an option of renting a private capsule for the ride.

A new free app, the London Eye Guide, is available for downloading. The app helps identify sites as seen from the Eye. It offers facts and the history behind London’s amazing skyline. The app allows visitors to store the favorite’s sites seen in a personal London Planner. After disembarking, the app becomes your must-do checklist for the rest of your time in London, guiding you to everything you saw.

Included in each London Eye ticket is entry to an emotional and entertaining 4D film. The film is approximately 4 minutes and is located inside the ticket office.
