The MistRider Zipline is an incredible experience. It is located just across the American Falls on the Canadian side adjacent to the Hornblower boat ride. When riding one of the four parallel 67 metre (220 foot) high ziplines, there are some of the most amazing views of both the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. The seat style ziplines make riders feel secure while enjoying the guided experience during the ride and breathtaking views along the edge of the Niagara River. The ziplines go down 670 metres (2,200 feet) from the launching pad to the Falls observation landing point below at speeds of 70+ kph (40+ mph). A waiting shuttle brings the riders back up to the starting point. Even before starting the ride, the views from the launching pad of the falls and the surrounding areas are incredible. The MistRider also offers nighttime tours where you can enjoy views of the illuminated Falls and if you plan well enough you can even ride during the nightly fireworks display.
