Ripley’s Aquarium:
Myrtle Beach, SC

What is really impressive about the Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach is that each exhibit is major and exciting – not just some standard fish. There is Planet Jellies, a section devoted to Jelly Fish, and Rainbow Rock with fish in all colors. In the stingray section visitors can touch a stingray or feed a stingray for a small fee. While we were there we watched a diver feed a stingray.

The Shark section is my personal favorite. The glass bottom boat over the shark tank was a really exciting experience. It was interesting to go through the glass shark tunnel below after the ride and see the sharks from up close. We were lucky enough to watch the shark feeding during our visit.

Ripley’s Aquarium is located in the Broadway at the Beach and is not in close proximity to the other Ripley’s attractions although combination tickets can be purchased.
