Carasaljo Park:
Lakewood, NJ

Would Lakewood be Lakewood without The Lake? Residents of Lakewood describe locations based on whether they are north or south of the iconic Lake Carasaljo. Come visit and see what Lakewood is famous for.

Relax on one of many benches alongside the lake. Stroll along with friends or family on the lovely trail, or if you dare, run the length of the 4 miles for some exhilarating exercise. Perhaps you’d rather come with your bikes for an awesome ride around the lake.

Bringing children along? There is a nice-sized playground on Northlake Drive as well as several smaller play areas on Southlake.

You may also choose to rent a boat near the stage on Northlake drive and go out on the lake. Don’t forget to greet the Canada Geese who love to make Lake Carasaljo their home.
