The 250 acres of pretty landscaping, flowers and displays at the New York Botanical Gardens are a feast for your senses. There is a variety of sections with different themes throughout the garden.  There is the 3.5 acre Native Plant garden. It contains nearly 100,000 native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ferns, and grasses are arranged in a contemporary beautiful design, the Perennial Garden with new displays each year as well as the Seasonal Walk. The water lilies and lotuses are just a sampling of the beautiful aquatic plants. There are also the Home Center and Conservatory sections.

The NY Botanical Garden is a family friendly place to explore. There are interactive activities and demonstrations geared especially for the young to enjoy.
