NJ Botanical Gardens:
Ringwood, NJ

by | Aug 16, 2017 | 0 comments

We had a really enjoyable, tranquil visit to the New Jersey Botanical Gardens. Located in Ringwood, NJ by the Skyland Manor, NJ Botanical Garden is a nice relaxing garden.  It is quiet. It is also free. At this time of year there were nice annual and perennial flowers in bloom and there were gardeners working all over.

When we arrived at the Carriage House Visitors Center, very friendly volunteers greeted us.  They gave my little son a scavenger hunt page of things to find in the garden. It made a regular garden visit into an exciting activity.

The Botanical Garden is located within the same area as Shepherd’s Lake and practically across the street from Ringwood State Park and Ringwood Manor.
