Cobbs Hill Park:
Rochester, NY

We passed through Rochester on our way to Niagara Falls. We stopped there for a little bit. When we passed Cobbs Hill Park, it beckoned. It looked like an excellent place to stop and eat. Cobbs Hill Park is made of 109 acres in total. We went in through the Culver Road entrance near Lake Riley. There are basketball and tennis courts as well as many picnic tables. There is also a playground and a cute exercise course there.

Although we did not see this part of the park, the beautiful Cobb’s Hill Reservoir is a favorite spot for runners who do laps around it. On the east side of the Cobb’s Hill Reservoir, is a 100-acre sanctuary. It is an undeveloped area filled with large oaks and wildlife. There are lots of walking trails that hikers really enjoy.
